He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Vinson of Hillsboro and Caroline Taylor (Paul) of Moulton; his grandchildren, Cornelius Vinson (Courtney) of Madison, AL, Sharocka Ray (Christopher) of Town Creek, Coratio Vinson of Montgomery, AL, Marquis Puryear (Ronorick) of Courtland, AL, Shamara Harrison of Sheffield, AL and Roy Garner of Atlanta, GA; his sister Sallie Eberhardt of Chattanooga, TN; his stepchildren, David Ray of Chattanooga, TN and Jean Erwin of Chattanooga, TN; and his friend Minnie Ray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
