It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Buttram of Hillsboro, Alabama, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Paul Long and Gracie Viola Cameron Long; her husband John Emerson Buttram; her son Michael Wayne Buttram; her granddaughter Leslie Buttram Gillespie; and her siblings, Hayward Long, Dorothy Dean Parker, Hilda Terry and Marie Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Liz Buttram Reed (Larry); her grandchildren, Lindsey Reed Todd (Jeff), Paul Buttram and Cayla Johnson (Max); her great grandchildren, Eryn Gillespie, Bryant Gillespie, Kynlee Gillespie, Kai Johnson and Jinn-Michael Johnson; her sister Faye Livingston; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Buttram.
