He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Angie Hargett; his parents, Ben Hare and Pauline Bonner Hare; and his brothers, Marvin Hare, William Hare, Edwin Hare and Robert Earl Hare.
He is survived by: his children, Gail Netherland (Charles), Bill Hare (Terry) and Benny Hare (Lili); his son-in-law Jerry Lundy; his grandchildren, Jay Lundy (Raylene), Amy Willis (Glenn), Philip Lundy, Chuck Netherland, Dennis Netherland, Joseph Hare (Emily), Katie Carey (Jayson) and Danny Hare (Amanda); and his siblings, Kay Lowery and T. J. Hare (Shirley). He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
