With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Dewitt Gray of Higdon, Alabama, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Gray and Esther Fulghum Gray; his children, Drenda Lynn Turner, Debbie Campbell and Rodney Cagle; his grandson Jason Cagle; and his sisters, Hersheline Kenemore, Vonnie Forrester, Clara Jo Ryan and Legatha Walston.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Gray; his sons, Harold "Hal" D. Gray Jr. and Roger Cagle (Joy); his siblings, Donald D. Gray (Judy) and Elaine Webb (Jimmy); and his grandchildren, Amanda Dobbins (Casey), Allison "Nikki" Casperson (Chris), Blakely Campbell Burgess (Vic), Zachary Turner (Allison), Hali Gray and Terry Waldron (Hannah). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family members and a vast circle of friends.
