With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edith Marie Pell of Higdon, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Holcomb and Bertha Lee Wynn Holcomb; her husband Nimon Pell; her children, Sue Pell and Winston Pell; and her brothers, Eugene Holcomb and Joseph "Joey" Holcomb.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanette Spurgeon (Freddy) and Judy Golden (Bobby); her grandchildren, Ashley Spurgeon (Brooke) and Kristen Case (Barry); and her great grandchildren, Alaynah Case, Alec Spurgeon, Ashton Case, Matthew Spurgeon, Hudson Case, Susie McLain, Faye McBryar and Carlene Curtis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Higdon Holiness Church (790 Co Rd 320, Higdon, AL 35979).
