He is survived by: his daughters, Shawna Gentle, Morgan Gentle Elliott (Jake) and Carla Steele; his grandsons, Noah, Isaiah and Jeremiah Copeland; his mother Shirley Jackson Higdon (Conuard); his siblings, Lynn Gentle Ware (Chris), Billy Gentle (Kristi) and Eddie Gentle (Lynn); his uncle John Gentle (Diane); his nieces and nephews, Cassie Shrader Carrell (Craig), Kaitlin Shrader Reece (Dillion), Brook Gentle Ledbetter (Aubrey), Heather Gentle Poore (Nelson), Emily Gentle, Daniel Gentle (Tebra), Tyler Gentle, Damon Gentle and Jaden Gentle; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tessa Carrell, Journee Reece, Auburn Gentle (Mikayla) and Jase Reece; and his friend Tony Williams.
