He was predeceased by: his father Sam Vance (Dean Vance); and his brother Shannon Shankles. He is survived by: his wife Felicia Hancock Veal; and his children, Madison Shankles, Erica Shankles, Zach ShanklesSisters (Samantha Hancock), Jeffery Shankles and Anthony Shankles.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
