As we bid adieu to Odia Kay Smith's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Odia Kay Smith has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odis Smith and Gladys Tucker Smith; her husband Stone; her grandson Samuel Garrett; and her sister Gail Bryant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Brown and Debbie Garrett; and her siblings, Carolyn Blansit, Teresa Durham (Ricky) and Gary Smith (Jill). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
