It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Ann Nichols Scholl of Henagar, Alabama, born in Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nichols Jr. and Allie Mae Ard Nichols; and her siblings, Margaret Hensley, Eddie Nichols and Leonard Nichols.
She is survived by: her sons, George "Joey" Goodale (Loretta Hensley), James Goodale and John Goodale; her grandsons, Josh White, John Goodale (Taylor Collins) and Justin Eastridge (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Buck, Aubree Goodale and Kenndi White; and her siblings, Carol Brunson, Leona Gafford, Lisa Moye, George Nichols III, Billy Nichols and Wayne Nichols. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
