It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Barnett of Henagar, Alabama, who passed away on August 17, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Barnett and Loney Watkins Barnett (Julia Barnett); his son Mark Barnett; and his siblings, Irene Poe, Letner Couch, Lottie Ingle, Leler Barnett, Rebekah Barnett, Clifford, Robert, Clyde and Ernest Barnett.
He is survived by: his daughter Winona Barnett; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Derek, Drake and Kate Whisenant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
