He is survived by: his wife Martha Smith; his son Brian Smith (Sidney); his stepchildren, Louis Ruiz, Cinda Hoch and Ereaka Ruiz; his brother Lumis Payne; his grandchildren, Billy P. Childress, Haylnn Childress, Tanner Levi Smith, Kaytlin Smith and Zain Johnson; and his siblings, Brenda Wiggins, Tina Smith and Roy Smith.
