She is survived by: her friend Jerry Bates of Henagar; her daughter Jerica Bates of Sylvania; her daughter-in-law Lisa Bates of Sylvania; her mother Joyce Roden of Rainsville; her siblings, Rodney Elkins of Aurora and Lisa Cox of Ider; her son Tyler Bates; her brother Phillip Elkins; and her stepfather O'Neal Roden. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren.
