She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Pendergrass; her daughter-in-law Regina Bailey Pendergrass; her parents, Samuel Jackson Eakins, Jr. and Dorcus Eakins Tilley (Baugh); and her siblings, Rodney Eakins, Stevie Eakins and Marie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Kritner (Joe Herford), Carol Padgett (Daniel Padgett) and James Pendergrass of Henagar; and her grandchildren, Nicole Sharp (Arthur Gardner), Amanda Kritner Cantieri (Charlie Cantieri), Andrea Pendergrass Davis (Nathaniel Davis), Rebecca Pendergrass Bowling (Christopher Bowling), Justin Pendergrass (Sarah Brock Pendergrass), Scott Padgett (Ashley Cooper Padgett), Paige Padgett (Jason Padgett) and Nova Couch.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rockbridge Holiness Church. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
