She was predeceased by: her father Franklin Abernathy. She is survived by: her mother Jayne Abernathy; her siblings, Teresa Ray (Terry), Robbie Abernathy (Teresa) and Denese Abernathy Rogers (Geoff); her close friend Sue Stark Roche; her adoptive daughter Michelle Hemm (Annette); and her grandchildren, Justin Francis (Ashton), Cody Edgeman and Danielle Faith Franklin (Daniel). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces.
