He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rowell and Nadine Fowler Rowell; his wife Doris Lowery Rowell of Helena; and his siblings, Naida Speed, John Rowell, Larry Rowell and Mike Rowell.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Steven "Steve" Rowell and James Lowery "Jim" Rowell (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Jamie Rowell Parker (Billy) and Wilson Lowery "Will" Rowell (Anna Lee Curren).
