With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Owens Jr. of Helena, Alabama, who passed away on November 24, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Abrigail Rudolph Owens; his sons, Pastor Joseph H. Owens, III (Veronica) of Bessemer, Anthony DeWayne Owens and David Lamar Owens; the mother of his children Sarah Royal Owens; and his siblings, Dannie Worthy, Naomi Owens of Trussville, Thelma Owens Nunn (Leverd) of Bessemer, Timothy Owens (Michelle) of Pelham and Thomas Owens of Atlanta, Georgia. He was also cherished by five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family is asking everyone who attends the service to please be mindful of current COVID-19 restrictions.
