He was predeceased by: his daughter Bettina Renea; his mother Jean Elizabeth Goggins; and his brothers, Randy and David McKinney. He is survived by: his children, Matthew McKinney, Amanda Posey and Brittany Hanner (Kevin Overton); and his siblings, Walter Evans (Denise), Francis M. Evans, James Franklin (Katrina), Lila Hunter (Jessie Franklin) and Misty Harding (Joseph). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
