She was predeceased by: her husband Donald H. Rader; and her parents, Ernest Padgett and Eva Padgett. She is survived by: her children, Mark and Laurie; and her grandson Matthew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Dementia Society of America in her name.
