He is survived by: his wife Donna Strickland of Helena, AL; his sons, Randall Strickland (Dianna) of Clanton, AL and Richard Strickland (Kristie) of Helena, AL; his grandsons, Mason Strickland of Locust Grove, GA, Taylor McDowell (Madison) of Pelham, AL and Russell Brown of Clanton, AL; his great grandchildren, Tyce McDowell, Banks McDowell and Ivy Brown; and his brother Jim Strickland of Marietta, GA..

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Helena Methodist Church (2035 Co Rd 58, Helena, AL 35080). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Helena Methodist Church.
