It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles W. Penhale (Helena, Alabama), who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Penhale and Mary Hinds Penhale; his siblings, Ken (Mary) and Martha Jordan (Jimmy); his sons, Garry (Gail), Donnie (Vicki) and Ivy (Victoria); his grandsons, Drew Penhale (Madelyn) and Nicholas Penhale (Chrissy); his great grandchildren, Lilly and Lucas; his granddaughter Rebecca Penhale; his great grandchild Caitlin; his grandson Caleb Penhale (Lindsay); his great grandchild David; his grandchildren, Ashley (Jonathan) and Matt Penhale (MiMi); his great grandchildren, Isla and Cora; his granddaughter Kristen Brantley (Joe); his great grandchildren, Harper, Addy, Bradley and Finley; his grandson Kyle Stevens (AJ); his great grandchildren, Hannah and Blake; his wife Sarah; his daughters, Leah and Monica; his grandson Matthew; his sister-in-law Diane Barker; his son Justin; his daughter-in-law Lori Barker; and also John (Leota). He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Face masks and social distancing will be observed.

The family request no flowers, but donations be made to the Helena United Methodist Church in his memory.
