It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Ray Suggs of Helena, Alabama, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Carl Ray Suggs Jr.; his brother Dale Suggs; and his parents, Elbert Suggs and Dolly Roberts. He is survived by: his children, Apryl Joy Nash Suggs and Corbin Ryan Suggs (Faye); his grandchildren, Carl Jaymez Parker and Mari Kynadee Parker; and his former wife Mary Sue Suggs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, his beloved dog, Clippers, and many extended family and friends.
