She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie Ferguson of Glencoe; her parents, Willis Layne and Alice Layne; her son Joseph Lynn Allison; and her sisters, Sue Reed and Ruth JoAnn Nichols.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Ferguson (Meredith) of Illinois and Darlene Bedell of Florida; and her grandchildren, Alice Elliott, Amanda O'Brian, Janet Bedell, Jager Ferguson and Jaxon Ferguson.
