He was predeceased by: his parents, Melton Ligon and Lela Ligon; his daughter Deb Ligon; and his siblings, Pauline Bonner, Hazel Kellum, Jo Finley, James Ligon, Jack Ligon and Johnny Ligon.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ligon of Heflin, AL; his children, Vickie Gravitt (Bruce), Brian Ligon and Terry Ligon (Glenda); his brother David Ligon; and his grandchildren, Allen Cavender, Andy Cavender, Jason Ligon, Kristi Ligon, Jennifer Bentley, Andy McCormick and Josh McCormick. He is also survived by Grand Child - Morgan Greier 9- Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saks Baptist Church.
