With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Dare Nelson (Heflin, Alabama), who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John G. Nelson; and her sisters, Juanita Blackmon and Marie Blackmon. She is survived by: her children, Malinda Dempsey (Phillip) and Keith Nelson (Laura); her grandchildren, Taylor Nelson Gardner, Riley Nelson and Jennifer Dempsey Tuggle; and her sister Marcella Prestridge Mrs. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
