It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola McLendon (Heflin, Alabama), who passed away on February 9, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Deadrick McLendon and Emma McLendon; and her sister Doña Owens. She is survived by: her siblings, David K. McLendon, Betty Dawson of Pensacola, FL and Jerrie Anderson of Adger, AL; and her nieces and nephews, Ricky Owens, Tim McLendon, Jim McLendon, Jan Heflin, Sarah Ann McLendon, Tommy Dawson, Johnny Dawson, Susan Dullard, Donna Mann and Dan Anderson.
