She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Edward Haynes; and her nephews, Daniel Wayne Geier and Larry Clete Beard. She is survived by: her husband Michael Shortt; her sons, Matthew Shortt (Ashley) and Ralph Shortt; her granddaughter Oaklynne Lee Shortt; her mother Annie Jane Norton Haynes of Anniston, Alabama.; her sisters, Theresa Haynes, Valerie Geier and Phyllis Willingham; and her grandson Ralph.
