He was predeceased by: his son James Norris Johnson; and his brother Willie Louis Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Joan White (Larry) and David Johnson (Beverly); his granddaughters, Krystal Magouirk (Ryan) and Kandess Anderson (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Ella Kate and Sawyer Magouirk; his grandchildren, Avery, Mary Helen and Nolan River Anderson; and his stepdaughter Lynn (Mike).
