He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Williams Whiten; his son Charles Mallory Whiten (Allison); his granddaughter Callie McQueen Bonds (Dillon); and his siblings, Peggi Deleuil (Wood), Mary Weldon (Ronald) and Robert Whiten (Juanita).
