He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Ivey and Marvin Ivey; and his son Matthew Ray Ivey. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Ivey; his son Michael Ivey (Stephanie); his sisters, Elaine Thompson, Opal Gibbs and Ellen Gay; his grandchildren, Michelle Ivey, Paige Ivey and Matthew Ivey; and his great grandchild Ledger Ivey.
