He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Mahan and Anna Bell Mahan Mahan; his wife Minnie Delona Lipham Mahan; and his siblings, Turman Mahan, Melford Mahan, Billy Mahan, Mozell Garrison, Kathleen Chandler and Betty Mabrey.
He is survived by: his daughter Angie; his son-in-law Bobby Fuller of Heflin; his son Greg; his daughter-in-law Lanette Mahan of Heflin; his grandchildren, Chase Mahan, Randi, Dakota Turner, Kenda, Cody Black, Macy and Wade Franks; his great grandchildren, Hayden Black, Elana Black and Taylor Dee Franks; his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law Paul George.
