He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Joyce Coffey; his parents, Alta Brown Coffey and Ada Holley Coffey; and his siblings, Betty Nolen, Bill Coffey, Bertha Boozer and Ora Belle Cowan.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Thompson (Craig) of Dallas, GA and Jason Coffey (April); his grandchildren, Brad Thompson (Carley) of Atlanta, GA., Courtney Eady (Jon) of Powder Springs, GA, Brittany and Autumn Coffey; and his brothers, Brad Thompson, Jon Eady, Matthew Huddleston, Wayne Huddleston, Terry Watson and Craig Thompson.
