She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Howell and Edna Howell of Oak Level. She is survived by: her children, Hope Lee, Wes Melton (Jen Ezell) and Faith Price (Charles); her grandchildren, Sean Gray, Leslie Ward (Bronson), Jacob Lee (Jodi), Harlie Price, Abby Adams (Blaise), Anna Lee, Savannah Melton, Janie Brown (Dusty) and Brandi Smith (Trent); her siblings, Daphne Bender and Charles Howell (Tricia); and her brother-in-law Harry Melton (Margie). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dryden Funeral Home (1467 Almon St, Heflin, AL 36264). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dryden Funeral Home Chapel (1467 Almon St, Heflin, AL 36264).
