She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Harper Bennett; and her brother Raymond Stamps. She is survived by: her children, H. Thomas Bennett (Gloria), Vicki Grubbs (Eddie), Carol Sarrell (Glea) and Tracy Bennett; and her grandchildren, Anna Bennett, Jay Grubbs (Kellie), Jim Bennett (Lexi), Jill Benefield (Will), Warren Sarrell (Astin), Ellis Bennett (Mattie) and Tom Sarrell (Alex). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of the Heflin First United Methodist Church, P.O Box 205, Heflin, Alabama 36264 or to the charity of one's choice.
