With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Toombs (Heflin, Alabama), who passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Toombs and Glenna Toombs; his siblings, Curtis Toombs, Tommy Toombs, Jimmy Toombs and Peggy Novak; his daughter Roanna E. Burks; and his great grandchild Noah Swanson.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Lucy Toombs; his daughters, Debbie Shea (Brian) and LeeAnne Shelnutt (Johnny); and his grandchildren, Rich Jernigan (Andrea), Chris Jernigan (Kelly), Lee Burks, Joseph Burks (Brandy), Neil Burks, Michael Bowens (Amanda), Stephen Bowens, Crystal Swanson (Brian) and Jennifer Bowens. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren - 22 Grandsons.
