He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Cook Davis; his parents, John Daniel and Carrie Lee Williamson Davis; and his siblings, Raymond Davis, Earl Davis Sr., Robert Davis, Mildred Smith, Lillie Davis and Sue Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Davis, Steve Davis (Alicia) and Donald Davis (Mandy); his sister Faye Davis; his grandchildren, Stephanie Miller (Chris), Josh Davis (Meghann) and Justin Davis (Anna); and his great grandchildren, Everett Davis, Miles Davis, Ava Marie Davis, Charlie Davis and Rylan Davis.
