She was predeceased by: her parents, C. B. Bowman and Joyce Day Bowman. She is survived by: her husband Perry Scott Dennis; her children, Deann Dennis Hebert (Lance) and Derrick Scott Dennis (Andrea); her grandchildren, Adeline, Weston, Amelia and Levi; and her sister Kelly Bowman King (Gary).
Her influential faith in Christ was the foundation of her life, and she was a committed member of Heflin Baptist Church for many years where she enjoyed singing in the church choir.
