It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dava Hartley (Heflin, Alabama), who passed away on January 4, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Howard Hartley; her parents, Willie Sledge and Mary Sledge; her children, Arlena Hartley, Inez Royal and William Hartley; and her siblings, Buddy Sledge, Willie Mae Wood and Eva Hooper.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Dobbs (Larry) of Ranburne, AL, Fredrick Randy Wood (Ally) of Wedowee, AL and James Roy Hartley (Penni) of Ranburne, AL; and her daughter-in-law Denise Hartley of Heflin, AL. She is also survived by Grandchildren 15-Great Grandchildren 1-Great Great Grandchild.
