He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Owen and Curtis Owen; his sisters, Betty Bradley, Bobbie Morrow and Joan Owens; his sister-in-law Glenda Bailey Owen; and his parents-in-law, Arthur and Cordia Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Robinson Owen; his daughter Nikki Owen Smallwood; his son-in-law Jim Smallwood; his brother Barry Owen; and his brother-in-law Elmo Owens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Edwardsville Baptist Church.
