She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin McCormick and Ruby McCormick (Joe Boshell); her daughter Brenda Jarrell; her siblings, Billy Gene McCormick and Mary Beason; and her great grandchild Avery Turley.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Butler and James Burgess (Cathy); and her grandchildren, Jaclyn Turley (Benji), Matthew Hudgins (Brittany), Ashley Johnson (Austin) and Melanie Argus. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dryden Funeral Home (1467 Almon St, Heflin, AL 36264). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dryden Funeral Home Chapel (1467 Almon St, Heflin, AL 36264).
