She was predeceased by: her husband Garlin McAlpin; her siblings, Mildred Burgess, Teat Sullivan, Myrtle Skinner, Slim and Herb Smith; and her grandson Tyler Pollard.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark McAlpin (Rená) and Mike McAlpin (Teresa Cook); and her grandchildren, Maranda McAlpin, Mahala McAlpin, Shane McAlpin, Cody McAlpin and Trevor Cook. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
