She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelmer Stewart and Lottie Stodgill Stewart; her husband Horace E. Spradlin; her sons, George Edward Spradlin, Barry and Larry Spradlin; her grandchildren, Heather Dewitt and Todd Short; and her siblings, Marvolene Wilson, Jo Landers, Allan Stewart and Horace Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Short of Chulafinnee, Carol Arons (Larry) of Fayetteville, NC, David Spradlin of Hollis Crossroads and Alicia Thompson; her great grandchildren, Chase Thompson (Ashley), Jacob Dewitt and Kaitlyn Dewitt; and her siblings, Burma Johnson (Joe) of Athens, AL and Bobby Stewart (Shirley) of Wedowee.
Memorials may be floral but the family would prefer donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
