She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Taft Thompson and Annie Mae Wood Thompson; her husband Troy Alvin Hicks; and her siblings, Irelle Johnson Ramage, Martha McDaniel, Ellen Hughes, Rex Allen Thompson, Hayward Thompson, Gene Thompson and Billy Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Hicks Jordan (Scotty), Ronda Hicks of Alexander City, AL, Terry Hicks and Larry Hicks (Diane); her brothers, Johnny Thompson (Eleanor) and Dennis Thompson; and her sister-in-law Mildred Thompson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
