We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 99, Rene Danford Herring (Headland, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Andrew Danford, Sr. and Myrle Dick Danford; her siblings, Fauviette Thompson, Hazel Reagan, Betty Jo Golden, C. L. Danford and Randall Danford; her grandson Reggie Claar; and her sons-in-law, George Pearman and Arthur Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Pearman of Brantley, Margie Johnson (Travis) of Brantley, Vicki Wilson and Nolan Herring (Jaime) of Troy, AL; her siblings, Faye Bruner of Dothan, Ouida Schulman of Dothan and Allen A. Danford, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Casey Wood (Samantha), Denise Pearce (David), Ricky Johnson, Todd Johnson (Rhonda), Sharee Bloodworth (Scott) and Shea Pressley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, P.O. Box 33, Brantley, AL 36009.
