It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Barefield Jenkins (Headland, Alabama), who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roscoe Barefield and Evie Florella Bell Barefield; her former husband Lawrence Johnson; and her brothers, Jim Barefield and Frank Barefield.
She is survived by: her husband James Earl Jenkins; her daughters, Carol Riley (Roger) of Midland City and Ginger Creamer (Joe Mack) of Midland City; her sister Mary Grantham; and her grandchildren, Jamie Riley (Suzanne), Shelly Sapp (Shawn), Jared Riley (Amber), Joe Mack Creamer, Jr. (Jessica), Joni Dykes (Jamie) and Jereme Creamer (Malissa). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
