She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Eli Sketoe, Sr. and Idell Robinson Sketoe; her husband James Gill McDaniel; and her brother C. E. Sketo, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Kim McDaniel; her sister Hilda Sketoe Williams; her niece Yvette Williams; her nephew Brent Williams; and her close friends, Robert Thompson, Betty Mims and Angie Goolsby.
