She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marion Dykes and Edna Brabham Dykes; her husband Calvin Byrd Stephenson; her son Jerald Bruce Stephenson; and her siblings, Lucille Whitten, James Dykes, Allen Dykes and Quinton Dykes.
She is survived by: her close friends, Reverend Norman C. Simmons and Sheila Oakley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
