He was predeceased by: his father Arthur D. Simpson. He is survived by: his mother Mavis Simpson; his daughters, Tykia Simpson, Gabrielle Simpson and Marilyn Newman; his granddaughter Nauvi Galloway; and his siblings, Carlos Simpson, Regina Simpson, Brandi Bradley (Decorey), Sandi Simpson and Tavia Acker (Shauntrice). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
