He was predeceased by: his wife Melba "Sissy" Chapman Grimsley; and his siblings, Frances G. Swords, Mildred G. Harper, Martha G. Spencer, Bill, Emmett, James and Pat Grimsley.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Edward "Bo" Grimsley (Ginger) and Linda "Dru" Jones (Dewey) of Headland, AL.; his grandchildren, Kerri Blankenship (Steven) of Headland, AL, Allen Grimsley (Brittany) of Headland, AL and Keysha Allsup (Kenny) of Dothan, AL; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Ava Allsup of Dothan, Kellan and Aston Grimsley of Headland.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to either Westview United Methodist Church, 85 Willow Glen Dr., Blakely, GA 39823 or to Covenant Care Hospice, 1512 W. Main St., Dothan, AL 36301.
