It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerald Long (Headland, Alabama), born in Midland City, Alabama, who passed away on January 30, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Long and Inez Green Long; his siblings, Billy Long, Tommy Long and Betty Long Dean; and his niece Julie Long.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Long Thompson (Jason Crook); his grandchildren, Lauren and Paul Joseph Thompson; his brother Kenny Long (Bridget Lee Long); his sisters-in-law, Rosie Long and Peggy Long; his nieces and nephews, Brandy Long Baker-Jensen, Korey Long, James Dean, Kathy Dean Johnson, Don Long, Christy Long Camp, Bill Long and Katrina Long Moore; and his pet Coco Chanel. He is also survived by cousins and wonderful friends.
