She was predeceased by: her parents, Alto Armstrong and Nell Phillips Armstrong; her husband James Leon Hancock; her grandson Joseph Tyler "Bubba" Hancock; and her siblings, Mary Frank Brown, Rupert Armstrong and Foster Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Henry (Jay), Steve Hancock (Kay) of Headland and Joe Hancock of Headland; her grandchildren, Randi Coleman (Josh), Kendall Mims (Joey) and Brooke Hancock; and her great grandchildren, Peerce Patterson, Mia Patterson, Hannah Coleman, Murphy Mims, Ellerie Coleman and Dayton Coleman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 1550 Parramore Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
